He is a Pharmacist by training and holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria, Gordon’s Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS), and South Africa.
He is currently the Country Manager of Roche Pharmaceuticals in Nigeria.
After his role as Head of Premises Licensing & Enforcement with the Pharmacy Council, Ghana, Herman joined Barclays in 1999 on the Barclays Business Leadership Programme.
Immediately after the Programme in Barclays, Herman returned to the Pharmaceutical Industry to join Roche in January, 2002, as a Medical Representative in Ghana. He moved to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2005 to join the marketing team and became the Head of Marketing for Roche, Sub Sahara Africa in January, 2008.
In February, 2010, Herman moved to base in Abidjan, Ivory Coast as Roche Country Manager for the French West African countries and later Ghana as well.
In August, 2011, Herman was Head of Marketing & Business Development for Sanofi, North East Africa, an affiliate spanning eight (8) countries across West and East Africa.
